Working in Korea

 If you are staying in Korea for more than 90 days , you must apply for a Residence Card (formerly known as the Alien Registration Card or ARC). This card is your official ID in Korea and is required for everything from opening a bank account to joining a gym. Step 1: Make a Reservation (Essential!) You cannot just walk into the immigration office. You must book a visit in advance via HiKorea . Tip: Slots fill up fast! Try to book your appointment as soon as you arrive in Korea. Step 2: Prepare the Documents Application Form: Available at the immigration office or downloadable on HiKorea. Passport & Copy: Your original passport plus a photocopy of the ID page. Passport Photo: One color photo (3.5cm x 4.5cm) taken within the last 6 months.
